Since we've been back on Sunday, things have been pretty crazy as we've tried to stuff 4 months of accumulation into already packed suitcases... along with the even more difficult task of saying goodbye to all of the wonderful people we've met here, without any confidence that we will "see them soon."
Monday night we had a farewell party, which was so fun. It was great to have everyone in one place yet again, and take a zillion pictures, and just enjoy a few more laughs before we have to leave.
The whole thing is quite bittersweet though- we are so stinkin excited to see our families and friends again!!! But it just is a really weird feeling. Four months is a long time- certainly long enough to make some pretty deep bonds with people!
I have so loved it here. Australia is such a beautiful country, and the people have been just so lovely.
We'll be traveling around New Zealand for the next week before finally arriving back in Texas- I can't wait to see you guys! :)
