Getaway and Koalas

On Monday we went and stayed with another family friend- her name is Brooke, and she actually stayed with my family in Mansfield for 6 weeks one summer when she was my age doing some traveling! Now she's all grown up and married with 2 kids, so Jen and I went and visited her for a few days. We took a ferry across to where she lives, and it was so fun!

Here's me with Brooke and her youngest son, Will
Will is crazy.. we had fun with him :)
Brooke took us to a wildlife sanctuary, and literally we drove down a residential street until it suddenly turned into a dirt road, then this wildlife park was on the right! haha. We were supposed to be able to hold koalas here, but since they're an endangered species and the stupid swine flu is still going around, they wouldn't let us. So this is as close as we got (still good!)

This is for all of your information. It was a sign there, and I thought it would be appreciated.

Since we couldn't hold a koala, the lady felt bad for us, and brought out a baby kangaroo for us. Cute!!
We went to a wildlife park when we first got here, in Phillip Island where we got to feed kangaroos and stuff, but it was fun to go back to another one, because lets be serious, how many other times am I going to get to see these guys?? So cute! We took another zillion pictures of the animals. As I'm uploading them to my computer I just keep laughing at myself. Oh well. :)
